OUR PURPOSE:
• To establish a society open to the general public
• To encourage, and further knowledge of Polish
culture, traditions, history, language, arts, current
affairs, and local events through cultural activities,
classes, seminars, and any and all appropriate
means
• To foster friendly relations between the American
and Polish people

• Slavs and Tatars- Payam Sharifi presented a lecture
• Dr. Dariusz Pachocki presented a talk on: “Edward
Stachura, Polish Writer and Bard: Writer and
Wanderer”
• Professor Leszek Balcerowicz presented a lecture
entitled, “Poland after Socialism: Economic
Problems and Prospects in and Beyond the
Eurozone”. The event was followed by a reception.
APS promotes Polish artists
• Andrew Nagorski Polish American Author
was presenting his
book: “Hitlerland:
American Eyewitnesses
to the Nazi Rise to
Power.”
• Julia Zaremba was
presenting :
“Ciao, Austin – Ciao,
Ancona. “
