Understanding WebEx / CMR Demo Requirements

 WebEx Collaboration Meeting Room Account  Telepresence Video Endpoint (EX, MX, DX) registered to CUCM or a VCS on intranet and a mobile device with Jabber registered via Collaboration EDGE  Reflector App or appropriate dongle to share your mobile device on projector  WebEx Client at Customer Site, or shared remotely over Video  Someone to support the various methods of participating in a Collaboration meeting © 2013-2014 Cisco and/or its affiliates. Demo Script

 Start from Mobile device and share your screen to show the Jabber client.

     Show the consistency of the look and feel of the mobile and PC/MAC client Show connection to Call Manager and Voicemail – do this if you can from a non-cisco wireless connection to demo the ease of the Collaboration Edge feature Talk about the ease of retrieving voicemail through the Jabber client – even when on the road and not connected to the corporate network VPN Show the Buddy list and show it is consistent with the PC/MAC client IM with a Demo partner and escalate the IM to a call – great time to show Jabber/Telepresence integration by connecting to a far end DX/EX or Room video system.

Demo Script

 Go to Tablet and share your screen to show the Jabber client.

 Show the consistency of the look and feel of the mobile and PC/MAC client – same as the other mobile client    Show the Buddy list and show it is consistent with the PC/MAC client IM with a Demo partner and escalate the WebEx call from Jabber client. Have your demo partner join the WebEx from their desktop. Show ease of connectivity and intuitive use. Close.

Demo Script

 Go to your PC/MAC    Bring up Jabber client and show the same look feel. No questions about what to press to do something all the same commands and same icons.

Show the drop down Telephone selector in bottom left hand corner – and show your ability to use the PC or the Desktop phone to launch calls Show ability to dial via phone number or URI – Make SIP video connection to your demo partner     Open Outlook and go to email from your Demo partner.  Show presence from Outlook – explain we use the same hooks that Lync does as they are OPEN standards. We can do all that Lync can and more  Hover over name and show Jabber capabilities without having to go back to Jabber   Click on chat and let it take you to the Jabber Chat window Chat with Demo partner Talk about the screen sharing capability in Jabber – and explain this is for 1-1 interactions.

 From Jabber, click on the WebEx icon    Opens Instant WebEx meeting and invites the participants you are chatting with.

Best Practices for CMR Demos

 Focus on landing page experience – joining from multiple types of devices  Emphasize ease of use of persistent vanity URLs – move towards more casual use cases w/ standing meetings & lock room  Emphasize on eliminating collaboration islands w/ interop – tie in customer existing investments of non-Cisco technologies (Microsoft, Polycom, LifeSize, ShoreTel)  Emphasize sizing and scaling requirements with move to cloud – no need for customer to size bridge ports with shift to user based model © 2013-2014 Cisco and/or its affiliates. Best Practices for CMR Demos

 Emphasize ability to focus on video only experience w/ Full Screen view and Video View (continuous presence)  Emphasize WebEx mobile client capabilities – full content sharing from Dropbox, Google Drive, local device content, as well as pointer tools  Emphasize ability to focus on content specific view with new zoom tools and ability to multitask without going full screen  Use auto dial script or web into your endpoint to bring in remote Telepresence room and desk systems if its not possible to be in front of one  Lync SIP URI format is different: [email protected]
