Bio of Prasad
Dr. Prasad received his bachelors degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering
and M.Tech degree in Industrial Electronics from University of Mysore, India in 1991 and
1994. He received a Ph.D degree in 2003 from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore India.
During 1996 he was working as a consultant and project associate for ERNET Lab of ECE
at Indian Institute of Science. While pursuing the Ph.D degree, from 1999 to 2003 he was
also working as a consultant for CEDT, IISc, Bangalore for VoIP application developments
as part of Nortel Networks sponsored project. In 2003 he was heading a team of engineers
at the Esqube Communication Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Bangalore. From 2005 till date he is a
senior researcher at Wireless and Mobile Communications group, Delft University of
Technology. His work profile includes guiding graduate students and working on projects.
He has been involved in the EU funded projects MAGNET/MAGNET Beyond and PNP2008. He has been working on IOPGenCom FHN project since 2009. He has published
many papers in refereed journals and conferences. He is an active member of TCCN,
IEEE SCC41, and reviewer of many Transactions and Journals. He is on the TPC of many
conferences including ICC, GlobeCom, ACM MM, ACM SIGCHI, etc. He was the TPC cochair of CogNet workshop in 2007, 2008 and 2009 and TPC chair for E2Nets at IEEE ICC2010 and 2011. He is also running PerNets workshop from 2006 with IEEE CCNC. He is
the Tutorial Co-Chair of CCNC 2009 & 2011 and Demo Chair of IEEE CCNC 2010. He has
been the co-author of the best paper at IEEE PIMRC - 2009. He is actively involved in
IEEE standardization efforts and thus has been appointed as TCCC liaison to IEEE
ComSoc Standards Board.
Bio of Mauri
Jaime Lloret received his M.Sc. in Physics in 1997, his M.Sc. in electronic Engineering in
2003 and his Ph.D. in telecommunication engineering (Dr. Ing.) in 2006. He is a Cisco
Certified Network Professional Instructor. He worked as a network designer and as an
administrator in several enterprises. He is currently Associate Professor in the Polytechnic
University of Valencia and he is the research line coordinator of the "communications and
remote sensing" of the Integrated Management Coastal Research Institute. He has more
than 70 scientific papers published in national and international conferences, he has more
than 34 papers about education and he has more than 38 papers published in international
journals (more than half of them with Impact Factor in Journal Citation Report). He has
been the co-editor of 15 conference proceedings and guest editor of several international
books and journals. He is editor-in-chief of the international journal "Networks Protocols
and Algorithms", editor-in-chief of the international Journal "Advances in Network and
Communications", IARIA Journals Board Chair (8 Journals) and he is associate editor of
several international journals. He has been involved in more than 100 Program committees
of international conferences and in several organization and steering committees until
2010. He has been the chairman of SENSORCOMM 2007, UBICOMM 2008, ICNS 2009
and ICWMC 2010 and co-chairman of ICAS 2009 and INTERNET 2010. He is the cochairman of IEEE MASS 2011. He is IEEE Senior Member and IARIA Fellow Member.
