Regulation on the requirements for marketing of
batteries and accumulators and for treatment and
transportation of spent batteries and accumulators
The regulation determines the requirements for
marketing of batteries and accumulators as well as for
the collection, temporary storage, preliminary
treatment, recovery and/or environmentally sound
disposal of spent batteries and accumulators. The
regulation was adopted in 2005 and thus, the
requirements of Directive 2006/66/EC were
transposed into the Bulgarian legislation.
