This “Catalyst” initiative is designed to target, engage and qualify General Business (GB) end user
prospects while enabling IBM Business Partners approved to market IBM System x to drive new
IBM BladeCenter and IBM System Storage sales.

Eligible IBM Business Partners can receive an additional discount off IBM list price when they
acquire, for an End User Enterprise identified as a General Business Mid-Market or General
Business Large Enterprise customer, eligible new: IBM Power Systems products, or IBM System i
products, or IBM System p products for installation as a new system, or upgrade or feature addition
to an existing system.

Eligible IBM Business Partners can receive incentive payments for EDI or Web-based reported
sales of eligible new IBM System x, BladeCenter, and IntelliStation products and/or new System
Storage products to IBM approved new customers who are also defined in Mid-Market customers.
IBM has uplifted the NEW CUSTOMER Bonus by 50% for Mid-Market customers.

$35).

Incentives
Eligible IBM® Business Partners can receive a rebate if their End User* purchases remarketed
ServiceElite or ServiceSuite™ hardware maintenance with a prepaid contract period of at least one
year of billed maintenance for a qualifying IBM System i™, System p™, or System x™ server that is
no more than one day beyond the end of its warranty period. Additional rebate if GB.

Firms may earn lead pass fees (5%, $50K maximum) on opportunities identified and passed to IGS
that close for: ITS, BCS, ebHS, ITES, BCRS, & SO SMB. Hardware maintenance Lead Pass fee
payment was modified to include System i used features. Also eligible, machines submitted as
opportunities that are prepaid, annual/multi-year contracts, sold at time of hardware sale.
