Dear Parents,
Al Salam Alaykom.
We would like to introduce you to our Extra-Curricular
Activities for this year. Below you will find a list of the
activities designated for your child’s stage.
Extra Curricular Activities take place every Wednesday for
KG1. Each child will choose 4 activities for our 4 rounds of
activities.
KG1
1- The Young Chef:
Children will learn how to be safe in the kitchen, using
different utensils, setting the table, how to measure
ingredients and differentiate between healthy and unhealthy
food. In addition, they will also learn about where food
comes from and about changing food matter from solid to
liquid and vice versa. They will also prepare a healthy snack
every week.
2- The Montessori Club:
Over the 6 weeks, children will practice a variety of
Montessori activities to reinforce their fine motor skills,
practical life skills, language, and math skills.
3- Jewelry Making:
Children will work with different materials to create pieces
of jewelry while refining their fine motor skills through
threading, lacing, beading and other different techniques.
Students will feel proud to come and share their products
with you.
4- The How Things are Made Club:
Over the 6 weeks, children will learn through videos and
crafts how different things are made, such as toothpaste,
wooly jumpers, glass, and pencils.
5- The Little Athlete Club:
Children will enjoy a variety of games to increase their gross
motor skills and balance.
6-The Charity Club:
( This club is taught by Arabic teachers.)
Children will learn about the importance of helping others
and doing good deeds to help and thank people around us.
7- The Science Club:
( This club is taught by Arabic teachers.)
Children will perform some scientific experiments and explore
new Science concepts.
8-The Extra Support Club:
Teachers will recommend this club for students who need
extra support. This club will be using activities and games to
practice different concepts introduced in class. We will
contact you if your child needs to be in this club.
