BACKGROUND
• Prior to 2011 graduates – calculated based on seniors only, who were
traditional “drop-outs”
• 2012-present
• Calculation begins in 9 th grade
• Measures how many students graduate in 4 years
• Does not take into account special education students who are
educated beyond 4 years
• Students who withdraw from DHS at any time is tracked with an ID
# and must re-enroll somewhere else, or is an “unverified student”
