Club Maith
What is Club Maith?
• It’s an accreditation process which assesses how well
(bronze, silver, gold or platinum awards) your club is
being run in accordance with best practice under a
number of headings
– Governance
– Health & Protection
– Community Enhancement
– Culture
– Coaching & Games
What do I do?
• Go to Club Maith web-site on www.ulstergaa.ie under the
Club and Community tab
• Register your club with a username and password
• Gives club constant access to information
• Download application form, complete and submit
• Club Maith pack sent out to club or print off the Club Maith
portfolio from the Club Maith home page
• Split the portfolio into the headings in the previous slide and
delegate the sections out to different officers
• Huge amount of material on the website to assist the club
with its application
How much detail?
• There are about 100 criteria on which clubs
are assessed
