WHAT IS TITLE IX ….
A Federal Law, enforced by:

TITLE IX PROTECT STUDENTS….
Title IX protects both male and female
students in educational programs and
activities from sex discrimination, including
sexual harassment, by any school
employee, another student, or a nonemployee third party.

Who oversees policies and procedures
that apply to complaints alleging sex
discrimination (including sexual
harassment, sexual assault and sexual
violence).
UM HAS AN ASSISTANT
TITLE IX COORDINATOR …

conducting investigations into sex
discrimination/misconduct complaints
filed against students.
SEXUAL MISCONDUCT

conduct .
