WHAT IS A PATENT ?
A patent is a protection given to a patentee for
an invention for a limited term by the
government for disclosing the invention
Right to exclude others from using your
invention.

Three Statutory Benchmarks for Patentability as per

THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE
CLAIMED INVENTION and the PRIOR ART
are such that the subject matter as a whole
WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN OBVIOUS at the
time the invention was made to a PERSON
